Ampelosaurus

Description

The Ampelosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived in Europe around 70 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous period. Discovered in France, this sauropod reached nearly 15 meters in length and had a long neck and a powerful tail.

Interestingly, bony plates embedded in its skin provided protection against predators. It is one of the few known large dinosaurs to have lived in Europe, a true symbol of French paleontology.

The Papo Ampelosaurus figurine realistically showcases this French giant: slender silhouette, detailed skin texture, and majestic appearance. An ideal model to complete a dinosaur collection and travel to the heart of prehistory.
